We are used to dogs shedding by all means but it's been so long since we've had a puppy.
Are lab is 4 months 2 weeks old and is blowing his coat.
We brush him with the Furminator which helped tremendously... BUT... we heard that the first shedding of a puppy is the worst... is that true or a old wives tale?

Answer: When they blow their puppy coat that will be bad. Adults blow their coats twice a year with bitches and once a year with dogs. That will be the worst. Bitches always blow their coat after a season. If you have a bitch and she is spayed then she will only lose her coat once in a year. That's a small part of the contention over allowing altered bitches to show in the ring. May I say a VERY small part.
Edit: Good food will keep your dog from shedding as much during the times between when they actually blow it.

I live in this house and the older cats for local love in my attic - perhaps the mouse is up there or something. The problem is they keep me up all night when they fight, or mating, or something. Hi, I just 9 months of kitten local animal shelter, he had all its plans and is neutered. They put a dose of Frontline Plus on it before I got home. I really do not suspect he fled, but I wanted them to do none-the-less. Anyway, I want to bathe the kitty that this is not proper to be free. It has been about 21 hours since the dose was given, then I give the cat a bath now?
