Question: 8-9 months old cat / kitten. Sick or not?
My cat is long haired. It has a lot of itching, and first I thought it was her collar. (i got her first collar) for Christmas, then they stopped itching around the hips / lower back. I thought, unless she has fleas have fleas, but then began the hair is thinner / patching around this area. Everything points to fleas kind But then I noticed her skin where the hair was thinner, darker. the rest of her is pink-ishy, with the exception of the areas that are thinner gray / darker than the rest of it. They ate and action is usually good, but still afraid something is wrong. I am very concerned about them. say please, dont just "go see a veterinarian," I want to know what is the first. now i dont have the time or money to take her to a vet or otherwise I would in any case. yes, I know I have internet, but i dont pay in person. Thanks for all the help and input.
Answer: The thing I find strange, "do not tell me to a vet, I would like to know what it is first 'to go. Oh, that's not the reason you go to a vet to find out what's wrong with the animal, and then they treated? We can not say on the Internet, what's wrong with your cat. We can only guess, and that's not good enough - do not rely on guesswork on the Internet for what is wrong with your cat could make a big mistake! Many well-meaning man dangerous advice over the Internet. My guess is that it is fleas - from what you have described it certainly sounds like a flea allergy, But without seeing the cat, I could not know. I guess you're not with flea treatment on them. If you are not ready, they will bring it to a vet to get at least Frontline few of them, you need not take the cat to get them. Flea collars and actually save something from an animal that is not against fleas Work - as you can see, because your cat has them. It bothered me greatly when people think that strangers can diagnose over the Internet, what's wrong with her Animals! Chalice
