Question: I like the idea of having a pet centipede. But I do not know how ...?
I have a friend who has a pet centipede living time away, but I adore his millipedes and I was thinking of getting my car - But I do not know quite how to keep house and that for example, 1. What large should the tank or cage 2. It's a round-robin herbivore ... Right? 3. Is there a bed is sure to like 4. Is it possible that it could be a celebration wrong and it hurts 5. Is it true that you do not need some light ....................................... Oh ....... giant centipede down the road ... Thanks
Answer: African giants are the most commonly found in pet shops - I was playing with some children, the other day ... so cute! anyway ... 1) For an adult, a 10 gallon tank should be fine (or even a bit smaller). I want a tank atleast twice as long as the millipede and as wide as is long - I've seen are very active. Just get the bigger can actually, as for anything! They can live in groups, but more than one that had evidently need a bigger tank. glass, plastic or wooden tanks are well - something that retains heat and moisture and has a tight-fitting lid 2) yes indeedy, it can give eating all kinds of fruits and vegetables - banana, carrot, melon, apple, cucumber, tomato, lettuce, etc. Do not forget dark give calcium supplements as well (as you would for reptiles) 3) Something that can hide in the moisture and kept - clean peatmoss / potting soil or something. A nice soft soil beds .. There are a few to choose from exotic pet shops. Keep moist so the humidity is maintained at about 75% - 80%. 4) Most of the arthropods are quite difficult. I wouldnt advise to drop, pull, bend or crush despite (obviously). Gentle delivery would be perfectly fine - just be careful (or not managed all) when you move 5) generally avoid light and therefore can not see them much if I did use light. Being tropical species but they need temperatures of 75 - 85F for what heatmat may need less than half of the tank. remember that they can secrete a kind of toxin when threatened (most are very docile though) - pass millipede some time with your friends, or even pet store millipedes make sure you arent allergic to it. Generally, it doesn't affect other people that burn if it gets in your eyes, but do not forget to wash your hands good luck anyway: D

Question: Can I make a fleece bed for my pet rabbit and how?I was wondering if I can make a kind of bed for a pet and how I should go about it. I had a dwarf lop and I thought I could somehow get him a bed in a box or something and use of glue or first need polar or something to put around him and within him and then so it is thick at the bottom. or should some things with wool and then sewn into a round shape and form square as a buffer. I really want to be warm and comfortable, and very cheap to buy fleece if anyone has any ideas on what would be the best way to make one, and if this is still a good idea id really want to know! I also have guinea pigs so that if he does not appreciate it then I can give them .... lol thanks!
Answer: Never put anything in your rabbit's cage, which is potentially toxic (glue), a potential choking hazard (fabrics, wool, plastic) or something that can be ingested accidentally puncture the stomach (ie commodities). None of these are a good idea and please do not use them - For the rabbit or cavy. If you want to give your rabbit something extra, a simple nestbox made from untreated wood, and additional beds (pine shavings, hay or straw) is more enough and much, much safer. Our tips are especially like that - is the bedding you can eat. And the rabbit did not have to worry about keeping warm, unless which is in late winter and are in an outside cabin. Rabbits are actually quite hardy - but can suffer in a warmer climate. If you try to make a "hot" bed, your rabbit is likely to prevent, opting instead to stretch in an open area of the cage and try to keep cool. Bottles of frozen water working to help cool your body temperature, and in case of emergency, with a piece of ice inside the ear works core temp to cool quickly. While you realize that you love your pets and are trying to give them an "extra" touch to your home, keep in mind that rabbits chew (all). Make sure that any use of bedding, chew toys and exercise equipment is safe for rabbits and guinea pigs.
