Question: Cat / Kitten security for the baby?We have a lil mouse problem at home and are thinking of getting a kitten, but have a baby who is only 3 months old, we wonder if this is safe for our children? It can affect the child's cat fur in any way? Is there anything more we need to know before considering buying a kitten?
Answer: I have 4 cats in the house and children statistically growing up with pets have stronger immune systems and are less likely to have allergies. It is perfectly healthy. Before getting a cat but remember that not all cats hunters. I had three cats that grow and we still had mice in the house. I like to invest in mouse traps instead if all you're looking for control mouse and not a life long companion. Cats can live up to 20yrs and they are your responsibility at all times.
