Question: Do cats out of the Christmas tree?
We set up our tree early this year - why not. I love Christmas and everything about it =) Anyway, keep my 8 months old kitten to climb into it. She is a cat in the house. She is a very large cat condos and dozens of Toys. My husband and I spend a lot of time petting and playing with her. We have tried spraying her with water and lemon juice, but it is an artificial tree, so I do not want it to grate. We have shouted at her, told her no, struck her nose when she's in there .... Nothing works. We have tried to distract her with toys, But all this does make them climb if they want to play. She has learned that the climb up the tree = toys. Help. I mixed a spray bottle with 1 / 2 lemon and 1 / 2 water soaked and pretty much the tree skirt and lower branches. It still stands in the tree. ... I can not keep them out of the living room.
Answer: Wow, I wish I knew what to do in this situation! It's your cats favorite time of year to do well because she gets to that perfectly natural to her -- to climb trees! You could give her all the toys in the world, but nothing like a tree is so cool! Answer: A "race" Turkish Van? Is that what the breeder is saying? Because "race" is not a word used with cats. It means pedigree cat lineage can be tracked and is registered in TICA, ACFA, CFA. Do not buy this cat, if someone is calling "race" as I can assure you it is not. Buy a book on cat care. That will give you all the information you need. But I really should have researched how to care for a cat long before a couple of weeks before it is receiving.
