Question: Inadvertently, I fed my cat ranch dressing?
Well, I mean it was not an accident. I ate carrots and ranch and began to lick the bowl of a small ranch that I had. She does not eat much. Is she okay? How is-cats eat strange things? Mine likes to lick my face lotion. It's weird.
Answer: Your cat will be fine. my cat loves people food, a fault of mine. It has been 3 weeks and he would not eat dry or wet, but people ate food. Now he eats, but he still loves people food. He loves the ranch, and my house is usually 2 bottles per week and someone steals some almost every time in the house eats some. They also eat garlic all the time, so garlic reacts differently to each cat. Unless your cat an allergic reaction, it should be correct.

Question: I have a jellyfish as a pet
I had a boat in the Chesapeake Bay and this weekend I decided to catch a jellyfish, and with take home the moment I have so tupperware a jellyfish in a small container. I have an old aquarium that I was planning to develop a habitat for him, but I can not much help on Google to do so. The jellyfish lives in brackish water, How do I create clean and fresh or saltwater? What things can I do? Feed Should I light on him? Should I flowing water? Deluxe Fresh Flow
Question: waterstation company leave?I recently bought a Petmate fresh flow station water for my cat. I was wondering if it is safe to leave this connected at all times? It just seems like all day and night is long. I want to drink more, so I'd like to quit, but wondering if everyone leaves his on all the time. I do not know if they use a lot of electricity, but the adapter becomes hot insurance. Thanks for the tips! : o)
A: I had two sources Petmate and Drinkwell now have a source. I've always left on 24 / 7 and have not had a problem with they run all day. The only problem I had with the Petmate sources is that both of which I had begun to leak over time, that really did not have nothing to do with them running. I recommend keeping a rubber mat or something under it to catch the water if it starts to leak. In addition, maintaining a close watch on water levels. If you let it get too low, the pump will burn dry run.

Question: Has there been a cat FLUTD develop at a raw food?
Hey guys, My 1.5 years old male cat neutered sieving and started producing small quantities of blood in the urine this morning. He was eating Nature's Variety Chicken organic raw food because it was a kitten and has a water fountain Drinkwell Platinum. I took him to the vet and, among other things, it prescribed Royal Canin SO (bags). I am not a big fan of limitation rules, but I want my child to be healthy. Royal Canin diet so do not look bad as Hill's C / diet D, ingredient-wise. Anyway, I noticed that many people recommend that parents spend on pet food of high quality canned instead of a statute of limitations and that many people have had success with it. But my cat? Has anyone fed a high-quality raw or canned food and still had urinary tract issues? I'm a little bummed that my child does not feel well, despite all my efforts to prevent disease. Thoughts, advice, comments, criticisms, please?
Answer: I'm cured with first UTI, but I can not say that I even saw a UTI develop first. Personally, I never fed Natures Variety raw, but I think it says it is high in bone which may, or may not be true, and which may, or may not, initiate a UTI. It's hard to say because even if it's raw, it's always comerially manufactuered. Can you try to go to a home made raw you comtol content files. I use the recipe catinfo.org but if you do not want to crush the bones you could pass something like www.felinefuture.com and add powder, meat and liver. My cats loved that stuff. It's hard to say ... but whatever ... I want to keep any food and perscription first try canned or other options first. This is of course all my opinion. Here are some suggestions for you other advice from my standard folder. Been there, done this. : O (I have 2 boys that I had almost lost to FLUTD, struvite crystals, bladder and kidney stones. I managed to cure both naturally (with the help of my vet) by feeding a species appropriate diet of raw foods and adding in a regime of natural supplements. My biggest piece of advice is to know if your vet advises you to use a diet "prescription" food ... choose to ignore this route and switch to diet strictly wet, canned or raw, instead. Veterinarians who prescribe prescription dry food (gasp!) And the same limitation rules preserved as a remedy to the problems of the urinary obviously do not know nothing about feline nutrition and are only bandaiding the problem instead of preventing it first. Unfortunately, most veterinarians learn anything about feline nutrition except what the companies food for cats to teach them when they come to sell their product. All veterinarians that would you put your already sick cat on a food waste made with loads of cheap, like Hills Science Diet, Royal Canin or Purina Prescription clearly knows nothing about cats nutritional needs Cats were never designed to eat dry food. NEVER. They eat their prey whole and wet and they do not have a thirst mechanism. Because of this ... cats are designed to eat only wet food. We idiot human dry food only for our convenience. They do not take enough water to a dry regime and if their systems are not fully discharged from such so they get UTI issues. So we, by dry foods are often the direct cause of any urinary problems in cats. Shows how we used to know, eh? What you must do is unconcentrate urine of cats that crystals have no time to form and the system flushed correctly as it has been designed to do. To do this, you need to stop feeding all dry foods and switch to a diet Stricktly wet food. Either high quality canned or raw food. It is not cheap but it will cost you less in the long term the vet. You can learn more about raw foods to www.catinfo.org or choose a high quality food grain free canned. More dry food for your cat ever. Wet food only! I also personally had success using Glucosomine and Chrondriton to prevent inflammation of the urethra. Talk to your veterinarian. There are some major feline studies being done on what are very promising! If your kittys urine needs more acidity due to struvite crystals can also add dry cranberry extract, just a pinch 2X a day on wet food. And you can try pinch of Vitamin C sprinkled on as well. Give your cat to drink distilled water only. Both my vet and I are convinced after having spoken with veterinarians throughout the county that the hardness and mineral content of water in different areas contributes to the number cases of urinary tract infection in these areas. From here to ... distilled water only. Another suggestion ... is to get kitty a fountain water. I bought the Bigdog Drinkwell for my cats and keep filled with distilled water and they love it. This is an excellent way to encourage water consumption. Finally, get a bag of litter science so you can keep track of kittys PH levels at home. You will not be able to detect the crystals at home that cause blockages, but if the pH is off ... Kitty you could get a urinalysis immediately and perhaps avoid an obstruction. Good luck!

Man Treats Cat Like Cat Treats Man
Question: What are your favorite kinds of cat treats?My two cats were so spoiled that they only eat Wiskas Temptation treats. Beg for them the whole time I pass by at least 2 bags per week. I cook homemade meals once a day and use them in NutraCal, if nutritional needs are met. I want to give them some variety, ideas? I tried most of the cats treats WalMart and they will not eat them.
Answer: My cat eats any current treatment possible! We must hide him or he busts through the packaging and eats everything. My previous cat, however, loved eating plain yogurt! (She was a stray, so we started to feed it for reasons health) You can always give a try and see what they think!

Cat Care & Sick Cats : Get Rid of Fleas on Cats
Question: What are the steps to kill fleas in a house cat?My mother and I just found out today that my 3 year old cat has fleas. We plan on taking him to the vet tomorrow, but my mother wants to know what steps to exterminate a house.
Answer: Depending on how large your home, you probably have to buy about 3 flea bombs from the supermarket, make sure you are out when they are left out and if you have any other pets in the house make sure you remove too - to ensure that fish are covered by what at least one hour and then go back, sure to open the house, that is well ventilated and do not breathe the fumes and get your cat a flea control liquid tube every month, if a plate necklaces there are not enough treatment which they could use called Capstar, just be sure to weigh your pet to get the correct dose, even fleas biting but sterilizes the trail so that no more production from them too:)

Question: How many times you can get on the front line for cats?
I applied at the forefront (correctly) a little over 12 days and my Cats have fleas again what should I do?
Answer: You can apply Frontline once a month. Why do not you put a flea on them , and then wait the required 18 days, then again apply Frontline? The first time you for Frontline, she has to kill the adult fleas, then incubate the eggs and this is what you want to see. Frontline to kill the newborn. Give it a week or so. With the second application of Frontline, you should not have any problem anymore.

Question: Do Drinkwell fountain for the cats, the puppy can drink that, too?
I have a Drinkwell pet fountain with a 50 Oz reservoir for our two cats. We're getting a puppy next month and hoped we could use the well, we now have for the dog. The fountain filters the water and, if necessary, we could always have the larger reservoir, which is 70 ounces. Who knows a problem with this?
Answer: I do not see any problems with it. Your puppy is it safe at first .. but if the puppy loves the water, then fine.

Drinkwell Platinum Pet Fountain Demonstration
Q: My animal Drinkwell fountain w / optional dam broken?I just moved and the configuration of the mat for the first time in my new place for my kitten, and has the additional option of reservoir containers 50 oz. When you complete this jar and place in it only "glug, glug, glug" continues to fill the container, all the way over flows in the soil, which seems to have forgotten to stop. And it is on a flat surface, the tile floor. I thought this was only physics, so I do not know how he could have broken him, any ideas?
Answer: Not sure if you tried, but the water filling the tank and screw it while its still upsidown. Then flip on the flat surface. If that doesn't work, its probably something wrong with that. Even if there is a small hole (by company or error handling) crack, or place the screws together isn't closing properly, you can not work correctly. I like to change a new one, if that doesn't work right either, back into the cup. Not luxurious, but never fails!
