Question: Does anyone have a Drinkwell and Petmate Fresh Flow fountain cat?
Are they worth buying? What are the advantages and disadvantages fountains cat? Thank you xx
Answer: I have a Drinkwell and my cat loves it. He never wanted to drink his cup (even if the water was always clean and fresh), but he liked to drink from a tap running. So I thought The Drinkwell is a good solution because I was not always available to open water for him. If you decide to buy your cat a fountain, check eBay for a good price on both the fountain and the filters (you do not use a filter, but it is supposed to keep the cooler water). You should also buy the cleaning kit, three brush to make cleaning easier. Pros: Encourages cats to drink more water, which is good for them. Cons: You should take him aside once a week for cleaning. It takes about 10 minutes, but it is a bit of a tedious process.

Question: How often should I clean and change the carbon filter with a new fountain flows Petmate for 7 cats?I mean and a jumbo.
Answer: the change when it stops working. When it starts to smell bad. you give a gauge. But remember, you may be accustomed to the smell so imagine how long it takes for the filter to wear out by trial and error, then use it as a calendar to plan the next change.
