Question: Users of cat litter crystal?
What brand of cat litter crystal you find the best results. I bought the new genre and it is not terrible. It doesn't absorb urine as much as I prefer my closet and all (it's a big closet) feels piss. What brand of crystal works best for you. BTW, I have 2 cats that use the same litter. It was literally a puddle of urine cat in the corner of the box, and I had to rake the litter scoop to mix the rest of the litter.
Answer: If you have two cats a litter pan with a cloth bag of crystal does not work for you. The person who suggested "Yesterday's News" gave a good suggestion. Hands down, however, the bestest, better smell of cat litter all is Feline Pine, which is made from sawdust wood pellet form recently and feels like a lumber yard. When he pees on the balls that got wet back to sawdust and settle to Basically, you always know what is "used". My favorite litter, however, still litter the white clay. Most people dump a lot of it in their litter pan, but that is a waste. You put 2-3 inchest bedding straw. At the end of the day or early morning, when you scoop the latest additions, first of all, you scoop the poop and flush away. Then you ltter tilt the pan gently to one side, but until all the waste side of slight changes. The stuff sticks to the bottom has pee in it. You grab a non-scoop split (like a small dust pan), and scratching the litter pee on it. He will be allowed to ride. Dump it in the garbage or toilet. Then take a spray you filled with 1 part Clorox chlorine bleach to 9 parts water. Spray the now exposed bottom of the pan where the litter was pee with that. Take a towel and wipe until the bottom of the litter pan is clean. Then give the exposed sides of a spray and wipe. The chlorine bleach neutralizes pee and shit. Tilt your litter pan on the other side and repeat. Your litter pan and litter are now completely clean, as if you just changed everything. Grab your bag of litter, and sprinkle on top of the waste that you removed when you dug and scraped. The litter pan never, never, never stinks when you do this every day. I am in the morning and evening, and you feel nothing, except immediately after a major production. And the white clay litter is very inexpensive. Last winter, I cat sat for a two cats months. In a whole month, using the tilt-and-scrape and spray method, I used about 15 lbs of litter. You can expose a lot of money for litter and Feline Pine, which is really wonderful fresh smell is a little expensive. Or you can tilt and scrape, and take a vacation on the savings. Hope this helps.

I would like to get my kids a pair of house rabbits, but my husband is very allergic to them. Can they live outside in a kind of stable? We live in the Midwest and the summers are hot, get cold winters. If so, what kind of cage / barn, bedding, etc. .. Is there a kind of rabbit, may fare better? Thank you!
Answer: we do not like that, wild rabbits live outdoors .... than I attended my first rabbit i left him out for year (not by choice, mothers choice) but ya he was good and he was just in a normal cage ... You might want around him an insulated water bottle when the water freezes cause!

Question: Midwest ferret nation cage question?I just bought a ferret nation cage of a double, but I was watching a video with one, and I'm thinking it might be a little big for just my two chinchillas. OK, so my question is, since it is blocking the ramp to separate the two units would be good to put my chinchillas on a drive and a ferret in the other (to block any kind of contact they have with each other, of course) or that this not only work at all? and the advice of someone who has the cash would really help thanks.oh and I havnt got the cage, however, must come the same week. haha thats asking Why am. I just think about it. but thanks hadnt thought about some of the points before, habit that makes me, I'm just going to get a different cage. thanks again for their contribution.
Answer: I can guarantee that the 142 FN cage is too big for two chinchillas - they need lots of space. When chinchillas are multiple dwellings that need even more space (so they can get from each other if necessary, if not have enough space to get away each other, they become stressed). Nor is it a good idea to house a ferret in the same cage as a chinchilla, even if they can get at each other. Ferrets are the predators, chinchillas are prey - prey animals can sense predators and get majorly stressed by it. The two animals, or even should be housed in the same room together. I'm glad to hear that you will not be doing this - two different cages is really what is best both for the animals. =)

Question: How do I prevent my cat lose my neck? What necklace remain at best?There has to be on 5 or six in the last year. He returns after a night out 'and is gone. Not sure if the stranger gets into the fight, or go to through small gaps. Obviously, for safety, cat collars need some "give" or capture the emissions if put under pressure - But this seems to mean we need to buy a new collar every couple of months ... The cat is already microchipped, but we would have a collar so it seems more "ownership" if found, after an accident, for example. We HVE a label with our mobile numbers too, but with the rate you are losing necklaces, from Certainly not worth getting new tags recorded all the time. It seems irritated by the collar themselves (even if they have a bell that stops it being the mice!), Besides having a first after an interval of not wearing the collar.
Answer: I have the same problem - my cat need a necklace of reflection or not seen at night. But often comes home without it. I'm afraid you just have to buy cheap and in bulk! I have not found a collar that stays in - and if they do, it could be dangerous, however I have never heard of a cat that hung around his neck. My cat loves exterior and is cruel to keep them locked in a house - they are very independent animals and the necessary space and freedom.

Answer: If you buy two of them, then you can put them together like a rectangle so that there will be two high and 3 wide. You may receive tiedowns. The plastic tabs that hold the stuff together. I am not if that is what he calls, but you can get them in a hardware store.

Question: Does anyone have any ideas about connecting 2 tanks for a rat to live?I get a pet rat (Boy, I think) Froma shelter on Tuesday. now I have several tanks and a metal cage which were all givin to me ... Answer: I had more than 200 pet rats over the last 10 years and is an essential thing they all have in common, they chew! And when they can get their teeth on the edges of a hole, they chew until it is large enough for them to pass. I do not like tanks (reservoirs) for rats. Rats drink and urinate more then other rodents and it is too easy for ammonia to accumulate. Ammonia leads to establish Myco (lung disease). How would you cut a hole in the glass or plexiglass to keep the cut edges to cut the rats? Rat chewing lids plastic with or without holes cut into their accommidate PVC pipe. Tubes, pipes and tunnels of PVC will become really grotty as rats and shit pee wherever they go. They do not know they are a mess, they just want to mark their tracks as they travel through the pipes. I tried several different ways to link cages with PVC pipes myself, but at the end of rats (being incredibly clever and cunning animals) nitch have found in my plans and chewed my practical work to make parts of the cage is both dangerous for them, expensive and time consuming to repair, and no escape longer proof. They even seem to like the taste of glue and silicone. Ultimately, it would be safer for rats, and easier on your wallet if you just had a good size cage wire for them. Question: How can teach you not to sprinkle a Ferrett to their food from the food bowl?
I have 2 Ferrett, not quite a year old. The Female has begun distribution of food from the food court and the male does not get all that much. What can I do to teach her that not to do so? I have tried to they spray with a bottle of water and say no, but it does not work. I had not changed their type of food or something else done, except that we do not wire the dish in the cage, because she dumped out the food and everything is lost. I have a different brand of food products seek to ensure that it is not, They did not like it.
Answer: Ohh .. do I love ferrets. I have a my own, and he is a bundle of Joy. I would suggest either always two separate .. Bowls or see where undertaken to examine possible ferret food and to work together again to locate the food court all. I try would, with two meals with hardly any food in them. Another reason could be that the track is on the lookout for fresh food. I have with my ferret noticed that when I bowl full of food, he eats the food, if there are one or two days old. He will dig and search for more fresh food. The rule of thumb, I use it only for the bottom of the pan so that you can see him no more. Feed them every day bit by bit. The worth a try thats forsure! Often it is just a faze .. and can grow out of it. Oh, and something more. I realize that my ferret Sometimes it takes the food when I saw him out of his cage to the carpet and eat it there. Where are you ferrtts bowl. Maybe you need to put a towel or something unex his little feetzies. Well hope I helped!

Question: Staywell cat flaps!?
I bought the four way locking one, but my cat can still get through when I don't want her to she just pushes against the flap, takes a bit of pressure I must admit Ive tried it. I want to complain to Staywell but can't find an email address if anyone can help?

Cat Flaps Just Got Better!
Question: best way to get a cat out a tree?
hi--i just moved into a new place in tennessee and the floors kind of needed to be refinished. my two cats, mittens and mr. snickers, are strickly indoors cats, and so i couldn''t put them out while the floors got done but locking them up seemed mean. so instead i tied a bunch of heliom balloons to them so they could just kind of float wherever they want in the house. one of the stupid home depot guys said the fumes was getting to him though and left the front door open to air the house and mr. snickers sort of drifted out the door when no one was looking, and got his ballons tangled high up in a tree and now hes just dangling there. i tried popping them with a pellte gun but missed and he yowled some, so i don't want to do that again. how else can i get him down? he's too high for a ladder to reach!
Answer: Uh, yeah right. Do you know how many ballooons it takes to make a cat float even a tiny bit? 400. Like you could tie 400 balloons to your cat without it going insane and popping every one of them.
