Answer: My cat has the Drinkwell fountain. When I was trying to decide which is best, I found that it had a better rating, and my vet also recommended. You can buy a 50 oz. attatchments for it, I only have one cat so I found it unnecessary. The fountain is pretty quiet, but the disadvantage is that it must be disassembled and thoroughly cleaned about once a week. Some parts are difficult to access So I would advise you to buy the cleaning brushes are sold separately, or aquarium brushes also work well.

I think to get a new Petmate fountain flow of water to my cats, because it is supposed to encourage your cat to drink more. Does anyone have one of these? It works or is it a waste of money? Can you recommend a specific brand? Thank you!

Answer: My cat refused to drink water out of everything but the bathroom sink until they he bought a fountain Kitty. It really seems to like. I cathc sound using several times a day. We have the Petmate Fountain. From time to time you have to replace filters. They can be found online and are fairly inexpensive. In addition, you must make sure that the fountain and reservoir are filled at any time if it makes a horrible sucking sound. Finally, you must give it a good cleaning from time to time because kitties shed. Hope that helps!
