Question: How can I convince my male cat urinating all over the side of the litter box?
It seems he wants something to void * in * and so has a habit of urinating on the interior walls and corners of the covered litter box. Makes something of a mess. Comments? Yes, he's castrated. He is 3 years. But I let him out to pee, because it is an indoor cat. I do not know. Is there some kind of chemical that could end up in the sand box for they do not want to piss on him?
Answer: I agree with Monalynn, get a litter box with an upper enclosure. Also can tape transparent heavy plastic plates (sold in rolls at Wal-Mart stores or home improvement) in the table to catch the excess spray (if it sprays the front) and litter kicks. The plastic may be necessary to replace at least twice a week, as some cats like the texture, and enjoy claw him. Every male cat I had (spayed or not) urinated on the side of the box, and is generally the same place all the time. Adjust your behavior will be more easy to change theirs. Good Luck!

Kitty attacks litterbox
Question: Does my kitten will be OK?I have my kitten is 2 weeks 4 days (18 days), he still feeds off its mother, but I was joking around a while he slept, I put a little vanilla yogurt in months lol its only a finger tip and he loved he kept licking his lips and began to clean his car that could be dangerous because it is the first bit of food he ate that isn't his mother!? I love my kitties cat 6 and IM by keeping them all so hopefully he'll be fine.

Question: I want a box of cat litter but approves?

Put a little sign to remind you of your scoop box at least twice a day may help you. Your cat appreciate a toilet clean, just like we humans. Question: Has used the Omega Paw Litter Box from Petsmart?This box has a Pull the tray between the massive litter clean by rolling the box back and forth. Sounds like a great product, but I was wondering if you have any comments on this topic. This is no automatic litter box that you plug in. It has a waste container on the side of those who collect the waste when you drive manually backwards.
Answer: I am not sure it's the same, but I had one of those you litterbox 're supposed to just roll back and it's going to screen it for you, and it does not work. I think the best way to clean the box is with a certain simple elbow grease.

Question: HELP ...... Kittens usually use litterbox?
my kitten is almost 4 months old and inoticed that he wouldnt use of automatic littermaid litterbox, I think it scares him or something. So I saw him regularly, he was wont to use. Wherever he is asleep he potty, i guess, while he sleeps. I tried to catch him and put him in his litterbox but he runs like crazy. He sometimes when it hold it in jar and share in him, but he yet potty on himself in sleep and wakefulness. Is there something wrong with him? What should I do?
Answer: Get a clean Liter box and scratch around in it. Let him nothing of the noise and get curious. If he knows it is safe cuz mom is so he can check the dreaded box. Then bring him there stuff, rewards, Whiskas lickin treated chew soft yummy. Thun was my cats fav's. He is still so young. He gets tired shee shee at his home soon enough, not for animals who do not go that at all. It is simply good

Question: How to train an adult male cat to hide the litter box?
I recently brought home a stray male cat. Not only it does not its litter, it keeps going in the same area / on-site litter. He wet bedding if it does mix as it must. It does not seem to be accustomed to living as clearly either, such as making a mess on his face or airdrops of food in his bowl of food every time he eats. And I also took him water to drink from the toilet rather than the water bowl I left for him. I make sure to provide fresh, ice cold water ---- even make clear he sees me make chilled water for him. Then it would also "paw" of water, such as ensuring that water is really there, before he drinks. How can I train to be clear and direct and carry himself like a cat should?
Answer: Some of them will never cover up their litter. My older will not, probably because it is dominant and wants everyone to know it's there. I suspect that the host organization I Cat # 2 had to take him away from his mother too soon and it does not. My daughter will have 5 minutes to move all the litter box in a mountain on his own. I think you're stuck with them do what they do there. You can just scoop the litter on the stain and shovel later after he lumps. Regarding the general disorder will, I think just give him some time. I do not know if you can really teach them to be treated. Over time, it will probably be cleaner, because it simply does not get as dirty. Some of my paw their water, we like to put a paw across drinks. I think it's just a preference and not a big deal. Many prefer the mud, so we have to always keep the seat down. For food, sometimes I just put a placemat under the food for my cat and just dump the bits spilled. Sometimes it is easier simply adapting ourselves. To some extent, they will simply do what they do. After a while I think yours will be much cleaner because it does not get dirty as it was and he has more time to clean. But certain habits of May will not change or may take some time to change.

Answer: few things will help: 1) Move the right bedding through the door and then after a week or put it outside and whose clean, and dirt is a nice place to chat shit and not both dirty litter box, 2) remember a cat is quite a nocturnal creature, so try to get a cat flap and leave and come and go as he wants ever, cats are creatures verry indipendance and there is no reason why he should not go outside at night, I know if you never leave out the night before worrying, but your cat will be soooo much happier if you do and after a while you'll wonder how you could kept in the dark as long as you eat at the same time ever day he will always be fed, and it will be very excited about to go out all night to come and go as he pleases for the first week or so youll find hes more then that but it will calm down and it will up a scheme to go forward or back, my cats always come in the morning when im making coffee, 3) to pee in the corner may be a sign of stress and probably means he wants to go pee, good luck

Question: I am very picky, I would me a cat?
I have OCD (approximately) only cleaning, and my children are dying for a pet kitty and (I also love cats), but my problem is that I am so afraid it will be on the floor or drink from the toilet, which problably take me and the entire house would make, poop. It would also bothers me a lot when I saw the cat walking on the counter or the table. My neighbor told me her cat always steps on the hut in her litter box and she gets it on his feet and I thought that was really great. Otherwise, I love cats and I do not care to look after them even if it means I have to clean litter box. I'ld probably invest that into an automatic self-cleaning. I would think that the problems are I asked to be concerned about a cat, and I would prefer to buy a cat than a dog or other pet. Suggestions please. My children are fourteen and ten.
Answer: Cats are very messy, mostly from the excrement and vomiting up hairballs. However, you can get a cat allergy or any flakes bred that less than a normal tabby cat, you get to the pound. I would try to find and bred with characteristics that make it more likely, order in line with what you need to be. You can not train cats to do certain things, like walking on the furniture, etc. You just have to start young. The self-cleaning litter boxes big and you can put a fireplace in order to get them to the litter from the cat's paws, as it goes. Good luck!

Question: My cat will not cover his shit in the litter box.?
She is 9 months and has a covered litter box. When it is # 2, his instincts are there, because it has legs and scratches on top and sides of the interior of the litter box, but she never bury the shit real. Suggestions? It makes the horrible smell apt.
Answer: One of my 4 does the same thing, but only in areas covered. I think it has something to do with the area covered. Maybe they can not see. Mine legs and legs on the sides of the box and even on the ground outside of the box, but the shit is not covered. In my veranda, I two more boxes that are not covered. The shit is covered everytime. I heard about the smell. I am constantly and cleaning the box every time the cat he uses, because the smell is horrible. It is also possible that your cat is too big for your box cover, it may feel like she did not enough room to turn around to adequately cover the shit without getting dirty.

Question: Cat will not cover the litter!?I have three cats and one of them do not know how to cover her litter, she only scratch the wall, I'm sure its the fact she does not know what to do and she scratches the wall litter just because they think thats what should be done. When she was younger, she was watching the other cats use the box but I gues it has never risen, now how do I him to cover his actions in the litter box? There are two litter boxes and it does the same thing to one, i thingk seriously its just because it does not know what to do shes ....'
Answer: My cat is just smarter than me ... he knows if continues to scratch at the litter, someone will eventually take off his scabs. Perhaps it tells you it's time to pick up the shit.

Question: How can I stop my cat pooing as her next litter?
I have a boy of 9 months neutered indoor cat. It keeps pooing next to her litter. He wees inside the box. It sometimes uses his litter box for Poos. I clean it twice date the use of clean bedding and got him an extra large tray. Iv tried to get rid of a residual odor. What could it be?
Answer: Never rub the feces of cats in your face! Who is considered an abuse and it is terribly bad. Cat's do not learn these kinds of things. It might be "missing" when he tries to go in box. Try to get a litter box with a lid. If this does not solve the problem while the cat should be seen by a veterinarian to ensure there are no medical problems underlying here.

Large cat litter box
Question: Where can I buy large quantities of litter cat?Answer: I buy litter clay regularly at a dollar store. it is very cheap. I use clay litter of kittens in my home and also to take into the shelter. I purchase clumping litter in large buckets when it is on sale at Petsmart (I use my benefits card PET for further reduction). I also buy wherever I find it less expensive. I have 15 rescue cats and kittens 8 so I will encourage through a lot of litter.
